HELP AHED AND HIS FAMILY IN GAZA!!!!

I've been contacted personally by Ahed ( @ahedfamily ), a 33 year old man who lives in Gaza with his wife and 3 children who are 9, 6 and 1 years old.

For over a year, they've had to suffer through the onslaught in Gaza and have been displaced 3 times, their home that Ahed worked hard to built being partially destroyed and unliveable. They made a fundraiser which is currently 26% fulfilled.

Throughout the siege, theey have had to travel long distances to wait for food and water with no guarantee they will have food on their plates. His children suffer from malnutrition. A bag of flour costs $250 and is often unavailable. Please keep in mind that they have a 1 year old, who depends on her family for basic function. In addition, his kids have had their education completely disrupted for a year.

All this family dreams for is peace - Ahed wants his children to live a freeing and blissful childhood, something that is impossible currently in Gaza. He wants to escape this siege to live a peaceful life with his wife and kids and you can make a difference and help this family.

Please consider donating to their fundraiser, absolutely nobody deserves to live in these conditions for any time, let alone over a year.

Please donate at least 5 euros/USD to help this family of 5 survive day-to-day. Costs of groceries are painfully high and finding any shelter, let alone a small tent is hard. Please appeal to your senses and share externally, reblog or donate if you can. If you can afford 5 USD/euros for a coffee or a snack, consider donating that money to this family. The smallest amount from countless of individuals will add up.

Costs to travel outside of Gaza are exorbitant, and this family deserve to live a simple, peaceful life. Please share and show your support to Palestine.

I remember discussing Tintin casting choices with a friend from Germany and remarked how it was odd he often has an English accent in adaptations rather than a Belgian one, and my friend just replied "that's because Tintin gives incredibly strong English boy energy (derogatory)"

Here in the UK there's a lot of weird classism tied into accents. Today accent diversity and representation in broadcasting is actively pursued but in Tintin's time there certainly was a preferred accent to have.
